Description:

We’re seeking a Cashier who brings consistency, courtesy, and confidence to every transaction — someone who understands that checkout isn’t just about speed, but about closing each visit on a high note. You’ll greet each customer with a smile, process their purchases quickly and accurately, and thank them sincerely for their visit. You’ll greet shoppers, answer quick questions, and direct them to team members or departments when needed. You’ll greet every customer with genuine enthusiasm and treat each one with kindness and patience — even during the busiest moments. You’ll assist with returns and exchanges, following store policies and resolving issues calmly and fairly. You’ll be taught how to handle common issues, like price checks or coupon questions, with patience and professionalism. You’ll stay calm under pressure, especially during peak times, and help reduce wait times without rushing guests. You’ll participate in daily team huddles, share observations, and help create a collaborative, helpful environment. You’ll help prepare for opening or closing shifts, counting drawers and making sure your station is ready to go.

Basic Qualifications:

• Make every checkout feel smooth, respectful, and just a little bit personal.
• Count your till before and after each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
• Promote loyalty programs, discounts, or upsells when appropriate without being pushy.
• Stay alert to potential theft or suspicious activity and follow store protocols.
• Adapt quickly to new POS systems, promotions, or store policy changes.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in retail, hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles.
• Willing to assist with curbside pickup, online order processing, or express lanes if required.
• Open to performing price checks, issuing refunds, or processing store credit as needed.
• Comfortable interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Able to remain calm and courteous during peak hours, long lines, or customer complaints.
