Description:

We’re hiring a Caregiver to support children with special needs — ideal for someone who’s patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping young people grow in their own unique way. You’ll assist older adults with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, always with sensitivity to their mobility and comfort levels. You’ll help manage comfort through medication reminders, touch-based reassurance, and nonverbal communication techniques. You’ll support play, learning, and engagement through structured games, routines, or creative exploration depending on the child’s interests. You’ll support light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up to maintain a safe and clean living environment. You’ll assist with mobility, lifting, or positioning as needed using safe transfer techniques and supportive equipment. You’ll accompany clients to appointments, grocery stores, or social outings, making sure they feel supported and secure in public. You’ll offer reassurance or redirection to clients who wake up confused, disoriented, or frightened in the dark. You’ll be trained in fall prevention, nighttime mobility support, and gentle repositioning techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

• Go the extra mile, whether that’s remembering a favorite meal or just sitting and listening.
• Follow hygiene and infection control standards to protect both client and caregiver.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities if transportation is needed.
• Be reliable, punctual, and compassionate—someone families can trust and depend on.
• Provide companionship through conversation, games, walks, or simply being present.

• Enjoys building trust and improving the quality of life for those in need of care.
• Willing to perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment.
• Pays attention to small details like hydration, sleep habits, or emotional changes that may affect well-being.
• Respects client boundaries, cultural values, and preferences in daily care routines.
• Wants to grow into roles like Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide, or Care Coordinator.
