Description:

We’re hiring an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee who’s passionate about people, curious about what makes a great team, and ready to learn the mechanics of smart hiring — no experience needed, just motivation and a people-first mindset. You’ll support the recruitment team in day-to-day tasks like posting jobs, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews. We’ll teach you how to screen resumes, identify red flags, and spot transferable skills that others might miss. We’ll show you how to screen candidates fairly, ask smart questions, and understand what makes a great hire. Expect to sit in on interviews, observe how hiring decisions are made, and learn what makes a candidate stand out. We’ll show you how to write clear, human-centered outreach emails and communicate with candidates professionally. You’ll help maintain candidate pipelines, track progress, and make sure no one falls through the cracks. You’ll help maintain databases, update candidate statuses, and keep hiring pipelines organized and moving. You’ll also support diversity and inclusion efforts, learning how to reduce bias and expand reach.

Basic Qualifications:

• Understands how to use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards effectively.
• Comfortable screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and evaluating candidate fit.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Enjoys connecting people with meaningful career opportunities and strengthening company culture.
