Description:

We’re hiring an Electrician for emergency service calls — ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, solves problems fast, and keeps calm in unpredictable situations. You’ll install outlets, light fixtures, panels, and switches during home builds, renovations, and service visits. You’ll handle lighting systems, emergency backups, breaker panels, access controls, and HVAC electrical connections. You’ll troubleshoot household issues such as tripped breakers, flickering lights, faulty outlets, and overloaded circuits. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment such as transformers, switchgear, pumps, compressors, and control panels. You’ll work with building management to ensure code compliance, plan upgrades, and maintain accurate maintenance logs. You’ll conduct preventive maintenance on motors, relays, VFDs, lighting systems, and backup power sources to reduce downtime. You’ll inspect fire alarms, exit signs, and emergency lighting systems to meet safety standards and pass inspections. You’ll document your work, log inspection reports, and track repair history in CMMS or maintenance systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Maintain licensing and certifications as required by local and national regulations.
• Understand and install energy-efficient systems such as LED lighting or solar components.
• Dispose of scrap materials responsibly and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Diagnose overloaded circuits, shorts, or grounding issues and offer safe solutions.
• Prepare job estimates, material lists, or reports for supervisors or clients.

• Thrives in hands-on, high-responsibility environments where attention to detail is essential.
• Open to working varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime for urgent jobs.
• Skilled in working with conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting systems, and control panels.
• Pays attention to neatness, durability, and code compliance in every wiring job.
• Wants to grow into roles like Master Electrician, Electrical Foreman, or Electrical Engineer.

You’ll be trained to follow residential building codes, fire safety protocols, and GFCI/AFCI regulations. You’ll receive training in rapid troubleshooting, live-panel safety, and safe work methods under time constraints. You’ll log repairs, parts used, and time spent per task using building management software or ticketing platforms. You’ll rotate between projects, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs depending on plant demand. You’ll work independently or in teams, coordinating with contractors, inspectors, and other trades on site. You’ll be trusted with autonomy, but supported by experienced senior electricians and emergency call protocols. You’ll rotate between installations, repairs, and service calls based on schedule demands and weather conditions.
