Description:
We’re searching for a WordPress Assistant who can juggle plugins, tweak themes, and keep content looking sharp without missing a beat. You know your way around the WordPress admin panel, can spot formatting issues from a mile away, and love making sure everything looks polished and professional. From uploading blog posts and creating new pages to managing plugins and tweaking theme settings, you’re someone who gets things done without needing constant direction. You’re comfortable handling basic customizations with HTML and CSS, and you’re not afraid to dive into a plugin’s settings to get things just right. You understand how WordPress works — from the media library to permalink structures — and you’re confident helping teams stay on top of updates, backups, and general maintenance. You understand the value of keeping plugins updated, themes organized, and the media library free of chaos.
Basic Qualifications:
- Stay organized by maintaining documentation of changes, plugins used, and login credentials (securely, of course).
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like updating plugins, themes, and WordPress core to keep everything secure and stable.
- Provide basic support to content creators or clients on how to navigate and use the admin dashboard.
- Monitor site speed and help implement optimizations like lazy loading, minified assets, and caching strategies.
- Stay familiar with popular themes and plugins, and learn when to use what based on project needs.
Preferred:
- Comfortable testing site functionality across desktop and mobile devices.
- Can assist with uploading products, managing WooCommerce listings, or organizing pages.
- Open to learning advanced tools like ACF, CPT UI, or multilingual plugins.
- Basic understanding of how WordPress works, including themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Has basic troubleshooting skills when plugins conflict or pages break visually.
Benefits:
- Flexible hours — update plugins in the morning or build pages at midnight, your call.
- You’ll work on real sites seen by real people — no dummy content forever.
- If you love tinkering with themes, blocks, and the occasional shortcode — this is your playground.
- We provide staging environments — so you can test without breaking live stuff.
- Your role blends tech, design, and problem-solving — never just “click here.”
You’re organized, responsive, and love crossing things off a checklist. You communicate clearly, follow instructions closely, and aren’t afraid to ask questions when something seems off. Whether it’s managing WooCommerce product pages, updating blog archives, or scheduling backups, you know how to get it done. If you’re someone who likes bringing order to chaos and making WordPress work better for everyone involved — this role is made for you. ” If you’ve ever fixed a site that was “just acting weird,” or helped turn a half-finished build into something ready for launch, then you already speak our language. Let’s make WordPress simpler, faster, and smoother — together.
