Description:

We’re hiring a Musician / Composer Trainee to help us create original soundtracks, jingles, and background scores — no experience needed, just musical passion and a good ear. You’ll help brainstorm and build original tracks for podcasts, indie games, video content, and more. You’ll help create original tracks for animations, commercials, short films, and online content under real production conditions. You’ll experiment with different instruments, synths, and samples to find your sound and style. You’ll work on adapting musical cues to support tension, joy, surprise, or reflection — all without using words. You’ll gain hands-on experience with DAWs like Logic Pro, FL Studio, or Ableton, depending on your preferences. We’ll introduce you to sound syncing, beat mapping, and how to time your tracks to visuals. You’ll learn to build audio libraries, manage stems, and deliver clean, production-ready tracks. We’ll guide you through licensing rules, fair use, and how to safely use third-party loops or samples.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance artistic vision with practical needs—loopable cues, short stingers, full scores.
• Provide multiple versions or stems of tracks to give editors flexibility.
• Compose original music tailored to various formats—film, games, ads, or live performances.
• Sync music to visuals by hitting emotional beats, pacing, or transitions accurately.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions with other creatives to elevate storytelling.

Preferred:

• Comfortable creating loopable background scores or one-off highlight cues as needed.
• Able to read and write sheet music or create MIDI-based compositions with professional sound libraries.
• Familiar with copyright, licensing, and royalty processes for original compositions.
• Able to compose to picture, timecode, or thematic briefs for synchronized media work.
• Can collaborate with vocalists, instrumentalists, or producers on full-track development.
