Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who takes bugs personally — someone who notices what others miss and genuinely cares about delivering clean, intuitive, frustration-free products. You’ll be responsible for validating features, verifying edge cases, and ensuring every release meets our quality standards. You’ll execute test cases, perform exploratory testing, and identify layout issues, crashes, or broken flows. You’ll report bugs with precision: what happened, where, how often, and why it matters — so developers can fix quickly and clearly. You’ll review product requirements and ask the right questions before development even begins. You’ll report bugs clearly and with context — including device info, OS versions, screenshots, and steps to reproduce. You’ll document bugs clearly — with steps, screenshots, and expected vs. We’ll count on you to see what others overlook, raise concerns early, and always advocate for the user’s perspective. We’ll train you on tools like TestRail, Jira, or Firebase — and help you stay organized as the product grows. You’ll support UX teams by flagging rough spots, unclear labels, or inconsistent behaviors even when technically “nothing’s broken.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, ClickUp, or spreadsheets to manage your QA workflow.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs to catch issues early in the build cycle.
  • Verify fixes after bugs are resolved and run regression tests to catch new breakages.
  • Stay curious—poke around the app even after the checklist says you’re done.
  • Log bugs with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and notes for developers to act on.

Preferred:

  • Can test for usability, accessibility, performance, and compatibility as needed by the project.
  • Experience performing manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications across different platforms and browsers.
  • Able to follow checklists and SOPs but also think critically to spot non-obvious issues.
  • Comfortable using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, or browser developer tools to inspect APIs or front-end behavior.
  • Organized in maintaining QA logs, testing documentation, and version history of test runs.

Benefits:

  • When the product works flawlessly — we know *who* made that happen.
  • Flexible hours — bugs don’t run on office hours, and neither do you.
  • Your feedback matters from alpha to launch — you’re part of the product, not a side-check.
  • We celebrate bug-free builds like birthdays (with cake, yes).
  • Access to real tools — Jira, TestRail, Postman, BrowserStack, not Excel and tears.

” You’ll join daily check-ins, provide QA updates, and work closely with developers during bug triage and priority discussions. This role is perfect for someone who loves clean interfaces, hates crashes, and thinks like a power user. You don’t need automation skills to start — just strong logic, patience, and the desire to help a product succeed. We’ll train you in tools, QA flows, test management platforms, and cross-browser/device strategies. You’ll gain insight into the entire product lifecycle — and see how your work helps make it safer, smoother, and smarter. By the end of your first months, you’ll be a key part of the release process and a trusted voice for product quality. If you care about the little things that make a big difference — and want to be part of building something users trust — we’d love to have you on the QA team. By the end of your first release cycle, you’ll be trusted, respected, and irreplaceable on the QA team. If you believe quality is in the details — and you know where to look — we’re ready for you to test with us.
