Description:

We’re hiring an enthusiastic Online English Tutor to help students master the English language through personalized lessons. You’ll design personalized lesson plans that focus on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, speaking, and writing. You’ll create customized lesson plans to focus on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, writing, and speaking skills. You’ll work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build their confidence in using English. You’ll help students build their conversational skills, encouraging them to engage in real-life English dialogues. You’ll assist with exam preparation, helping students review for tests like TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge English exams. You’ll foster a positive learning environment, making lessons enjoyable and engaging through interactive activities and exercises. You’ll work with students to help them prepare for English proficiency exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, and others.

Basic Qualifications:

• Encourage shy or beginner learners through praise, repetition, and gentle correction.
• Ultimately, help learners feel more confident, fluent, and empowered to use English in real-world situations.
• Be available for scheduling flexibility—some students may prefer early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Foster a friendly, encouraging atmosphere that builds student confidence and motivation to speak English.
• Stay patient and adaptable—some students need more time, repetition, or confidence-building to thrive.

Preferred:

• Familiar with teaching platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or ClassIn.
• Understands how to build engaging lesson plans based on student goals and interests.
• Experience preparing students for tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or general conversation practice.
• Experience teaching English online or in-person, either formally or informally.
• Organized with lesson notes, homework assignments, and student progress tracking.

You’ll assist students in developing their speaking skills by guiding discussions and providing useful feedback on pronunciation. You’ll adapt to students' individual learning styles, using creative methods to cater to their preferences and needs.
