Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Data Analyst (Remote) who’s passionate about data, curious by nature, and ready to turn numbers into narratives. In this role, you’ll work across departments to help collect, process, and interpret data that informs daily operations and long-term strategy. You don’t need to be an expert yet, but you should feel comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets, and ideally have some experience with SQL or data visualization tools. You’ll help build dashboards, generate reports, and spot trends that others might miss, making complex data more accessible to non-technical teammates. You’re comfortable digging into numbers, spotting inconsistencies, and organizing complex information into something clear and actionable. You’re comfortable using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL, and you’re open to learning BI platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Basic Qualifications:

• Run basic queries using SQL or spreadsheets to explore datasets and identify trends, patterns, or anomalies.
• Support senior analysts by preparing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help teams make data-driven decisions.
• Help maintain data pipelines and flag any inconsistencies or missing values you encounter.
• Participate in team meetings, take notes, and follow up on assigned data tasks or mini-projects.
• Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and usability for analysis.

Preferred:

• Comfortable collaborating remotely using tools like Slack, Notion, or Trello.
• Understands the value of data in marketing, sales, product, or finance contexts.
• Keeps up with trends in BI tools, data automation, and industry use cases.
• Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools for organizing and analyzing data.
• Pays close attention to details and double-checks their work before submitting.
