Description:

We’re hiring a Discord Server Designer who can transform a blank canvas into a vibrant, active community hub. You’ll be in charge of designing the structure of the server, ensuring that each channel has a clear purpose and is easy to navigate. You’ll design channels, roles, and permissions to make sure members have a seamless experience, whether they’re chatting or participating in events. Your creative touch will be seen in custom server graphics — from emotes and banners to background images that capture the community’s spirit. You’ll integrate bots and other tools to enhance server functionality and automate tasks that make the community run smoothly. You’ll ensure that each server section has a clear purpose and intuitive navigation for seamless user experience. You’ll develop systems for moderating and managing community interactions, keeping things positive and productive. You’ll help automate repetitive tasks with bots and integrations, improving the overall flow and ease of server management. You’ll stay up-to-date with Discord’s latest features and experiment with new ways to improve engagement and interactivity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support multilingual or multi-region setups by designing separate zones or language-specific roles if needed.
• Support branding consistency by using proper naming, visuals, and tone across the server.
• Stay updated with new Discord features (forum channels, events, stickers, threads) and decide when/how to implement them.
• Set up onboarding flows, welcome messages, and verification systems using bots like MEE6, Carl-bot, or custom scripts.
• Design and structure Discord servers that are clean, user-friendly, and aligned with the community’s goals and identity.

Preferred:

• Wants to build Discord communities that are fun, functional, and future-proof.
• Can collaborate with moderators, admins, and server owners on design choices.
• Has designed servers with tiered access, member verifications, or gated communities.
• Open to improving the server structure based on user feedback and analytics.
• Familiar with server templates, backups, and exporting/importing configurations.
