Description:

We’re hiring a Flight Dispatcher — the one who charts the course, watches the skies, and keeps flights safe from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for building detailed flight plans that account for weather, fuel, payload, and air traffic. While passengers sip coffee at the gate, you’ll already be deep into wind speeds, pressure maps, and runway conditions. You’ll study weather charts, NOTAMs, airspace restrictions, and traffic patterns like a detective with a deadline. Each flight plan you build will be tailored for safety, fuel efficiency, and time — and then tested against reality in real-time. When conditions shift mid-air, you’ll be the calm voice guiding the crew through alternative routing and procedures. You’ll reroute aircraft during thunderstorms, coordinate with ATC, and make rapid calls when delays stack up unexpectedly. No shift is ever “quiet,” and that’s exactly how you like it — always alert, always thinking ahead. You’ll monitor multiple flights at once, your eyes moving between screens, your thoughts five steps ahead. You’ll be a reliable voice pilots trust — even at 3 a.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Plan and prepare detailed flight plans by analyzing weather conditions, NOTAMs, airspace restrictions, fuel requirements, aircraft performance, and routing options.
  • Maintain constant communication with flight crews to provide updates on weather, airspace closures, or operational changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of flight dispatch logs, releases, and communications for auditing and regulatory review.
  • Authorize flight releases and ensure proper documentation of flight plans, weight and balance, fuel calculations, and crew limits.
  • Stay informed about geopolitical risks, NOTAM updates, runway closures, and international aviation alerts.

Preferred:

  • Capable of creating and updating flight plans based on aircraft type and operational limitations.
  • Pays close attention to dispatch logs, weather briefings, and route clearances.
  • Able to calculate fuel requirements, alternate routes, and payload limitations accurately.
  • Thrives in structured, mission-critical environments where every second counts.
  • Values precision, communication, and calm decision-making under pressure.

Benefits:

  • And yes, you’ll always have the best stories about things that almost went wrong — but didn’t, because you were there.
  • You’ll build flight plans, analyze aircraft performance, manage delays, and adjust to dynamic conditions in real time.
  • Shift-based schedule — day, night, and rotating coverage options to match your rhythm and operational needs.
  • You’ll be trained, supported, and valued — not just assigned flights and left alone.
  • We provide ongoing certification, simulator training, and compliance updates — safety is a shared priority.

You’re a master of systems, but never reliant on them — your instincts and training guide you first. You’ll manage multiple flights at once, prioritizing by risk, timing, and impact with expert judgment. Your communication will be fast, factual, and unshakably clear, even at 3 a. You’ll keep meticulous records and logs — not just for protocol, but because every detail matters when safety is on the line. You’ll brief captains, update teams, and document every decision like it matters — because it does. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where timing, clarity, and decisiveness are critical skills. If you think clearly under pressure, love aviation deeply, and want to guide flights with your mind — this is your place in the sky. If you think fast, stay sharp, and take pride in precision, this isn’t just a job — it’s your runway. If you think in maps, listen to the weather, and find peace in control — welcome to dispatch.
