Description:
We’re hiring a CNC Machine Operator who understands that precision isn’t optional — it’s the job. You’ll be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. You’ll read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to program the machine accordingly. You’ll be shown how to load raw material, align fixtures, and use proper torque — because the foundation is everything in machining. You’ll learn the differences in cutting speeds, coolant flow, and insert selection when machining something that fights back with every revolution. You’ll be taught how to monitor feed rates, recognize the sound of a happy spindle, and stop production the moment something feels wrong. You’ll assist in preparing tools, changing inserts, cleaning chips, and keeping the work area safe, tidy, and ready for production. You’ll get comfortable navigating CNC control panels — not just pushing buttons, but understanding what each one does and why. You’ll follow structured workflows, guided by ERP systems or tablets, that keep production traceable and on time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ultimately, ensure precision parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely—supporting the backbone of modern manufacturing.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE when working with machinery, sharp tools, or hot surfaces.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and transfer of completed parts to the next stage of production or quality control.
- Participate in shift handovers by communicating machine status, tool usage, and production priorities to incoming teams.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or CMM equipment to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards.
Preferred:
- Background or interest in machining, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or industrial tech.
- Thrives in hands-on, production-oriented environments with clear goals and teamwork.
- Pays close attention to machine sounds and wear signs to detect potential malfunctions early.
- Capable of performing routine maintenance such as cleaning machines and checking fluid levels.
- Can adjust feed rates, spindle speeds, or tool paths to improve part quality or reduce cycle time.
Benefits:
- No toxic culture, just solid people who know their craft.
- You won’t just push buttons — you'll understand what the machine does.
- We train and upskill — no experience? No problem, we’ve got your back.
- Safety-first culture where PPE isn’t optional — and we provide it all.
- We celebrate wins, birthdays, and finished batches alike.
You’ll troubleshoot minor issues on the fly, and escalate problems when precision or safety could be compromised. You’ll gain the confidence to run a part, stop it midway, check the cut, and adjust parameters like a machinist who knows what’s at stake. You’ll take detailed notes, follow setup sheets, and learn how to read blueprints — even if the lighting’s dim and the clock says 3:00 a. m. You’ll learn not just how to operate — but how to think like a machinist: deliberate, alert, always verifying before trusting. You’ll build confidence slowly and honestly, with real results: tough parts, clean finishes, zero rework. You’ll earn the respect of the day team by showing up every night, doing the job right, and learning something new with every part you run. If you believe real quality starts at the machine — and you’re ready to run with precision — we’re ready to work with you. ” If you value quiet focus, technical skill, and the satisfaction of solo work done well — we’re ready to train you after dark.
