As our Reception Manager, you won’t just manage a desk — you’ll set the tone for the entire office experience. You’ll be the first face people see and the calm voice they hear when they walk through the door or pick up the phone. Running the front desk isn’t just about answering phones — it’s about setting the tone for the entire space. You’ll oversee and elevate the performance of front desk staff, ensuring every guest is met with grace and efficiency. You’ll manage schedules, delegate daily responsibilities, and make sure front-of-house operations run like clockwork. When the unexpected happens — a no-show, a last-minute VIP guest, or a power outage — you’re already on Plan B. You’re the person who can notice a flickering lightbulb, a nervous guest, and an off-schedule meeting — and handle it all without breaking stride. You’ll optimize schedules, improve systems, and ensure reception processes are both smooth and scalable. Your team will look to you for guidance, training, and leadership — and you’ll empower them to thrive in their roles.
Basic Qualifications:
- Handle minor technical issues related to phones, badge printers, or check-in tablets—escalating to IT when necessary.
- Oversee daily front desk operations to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and professional experience for all visitors, clients, and employees.
- Implement and maintain check-in procedures, visitor logs, and access control systems in accordance with company policy and security standards.
- Maintain a calm, approachable demeanor even during high-volume periods or unexpected disruptions.
- Support company events, guest visits, or VIP appointments by coordinating logistics and communicating with relevant teams.
Preferred:
- Able to train, schedule, and oversee a team of receptionists or front desk staff.
- Comfortable handling confidential information, ID verification, and guest records securely.
- Values clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and team collaboration.
