Description:

We’re looking for an Online Course Assistant who can help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes of our digital learning experience. You’ll work hand-in-hand with instructors to make sure every course module is published on time, every student question gets answered, and no one feels left behind. You don’t need to be a teacher, but you *do* need to care about learning and how people absorb information. You’ll upload course content, maintain schedules, manage email communication, and offer light tech support when someone can’t find the “submit” button. Your inbox will be full of questions, and you’ll love replying with clarity, encouragement, and just the right amount of detail. We’re looking for someone who can stay on top of multiple tasks at once, troubleshoot basic issues, and offer encouragement when learners need a little boost. This isn’t just about keeping things on schedule — it’s about creating an online space where students feel supported and instructors feel like they’re not doing it all alone. Whether it’s organizing resources, answering FAQs, or ensuring the course flows smoothly from week to week, your work will have a big impact on student success. You know that online learning doesn’t have to be boring, and you’re excited to bring a little personality to every message you send.

Basic Qualifications:

• Share suggestions with instructors on how to improve clarity, pace, or engagement.
• Gather testimonials, ratings, or success stories from students for marketing purposes.
• Assist with onboarding new students by providing access, welcome messages, and basic tech support.
• Help instructors manage course logistics—like uploading materials, updating modules, or managing deadlines.
• Track and report student engagement trends using LMS analytics or custom dashboards.

Preferred:

• Open to collaborating with educators, designers, and other assistants.
• Reliable with time management and can commit to deadlines or weekly tasks.
• Able to spot inconsistencies in course materials and report them to the instructor.
• Can help organize feedback from students or track their progress and engagement.
• Enjoys helping others stay organized, on track, and motivated through digital tools.
