We’re offering a Sales Assistant Traineeship for someone who’s ready to step into the world of retail — no prior experience needed, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a people-first mindset. You’ll be introduced to the basics of customer interaction, learning how to greet shoppers, offer assistance, and make every visitor feel welcome. You’ll get hands-on experience with basic store tasks like restocking shelves, folding merchandise, and organizing displays. You’ll learn how to stock shelves, maintain store displays, and keep the retail space clean, organized, and inviting. You’ll be taught how to listen actively, read customer needs, and offer recommendations that genuinely help — not just sell. We’ll teach you how to approach upselling ethically — offering relevant suggestions without being pushy. We’ll show you how to manage basic inventory, check stock levels, and support restocking as needed. You’ll shadow team members to learn how to deal with complaints or questions in a calm, professional way. You’ll develop time management skills by helping during busy hours and staying proactive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance friendliness with efficiency, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout throughout the day.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and follow store protocol for loss prevention.
• Be adaptable—every customer, shift, and day is different.
• Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure all items are properly labeled and priced.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to product presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards on the sales floor.
• Familiar with store layout, inventory availability, and current promotions or sales events.
• Open to upselling, cross-selling, and promoting new arrivals or featured products.
• Can provide feedback to managers about customer preferences or frequently asked questions.
• Organized with handling receipts, gift wrapping, or preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery.
