Description:

We’re searching for a Lawyer Trainee who’s excited to learn how modern legal teams operate — no courtroom experience needed, just critical thinking, curiosity, and a strong sense of responsibility. You’ll help support ongoing legal matters by organizing case notes, reviewing contracts, and conducting structured research. We’ll teach you how to interpret legal language, draft clear contracts, and identify key risks in agreements. You’ll help prepare case materials, organize deadlines, and ensure that all filings and references are up to date. Expect to work with lawyers across different practice areas such as corporate, employment, or intellectual property law. We’ll walk you through the legal reasoning behind clauses, compliance rules, and standard corporate legal practices. You’ll help flag missing information, unclear terms, or outdated templates in legal documents and reports. You’ll help write drafts of letters, simple agreements, and client-facing notes under lawyer supervision. You’ll also be exposed to regulatory frameworks and learn how to keep documentation legally accurate and audit-ready.

Basic Qualifications:

• Supervise or mentor junior staff, paralegals, or interns when applicable.
• Handle disputes through mediation or arbitration when possible to avoid lengthy litigation.
• Work closely with internal teams or external clients to align legal strategy with business goals.
• Adapt your legal approach depending on the audience—judge, client, jury, or opposing counsel.
• Manage deadlines, filings, and documentation with strict attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Capable of advising individuals or businesses on rights, obligations, and strategic decisions.
• Willing to attend hearings, depositions, or negotiations as needed for client representation.
• Background or specialization in a legal field such as corporate law, litigation, human rights, tax, or environmental law.
• Capable of adapting to new legal tech tools like document automation, e-discovery, or client portals.
• Pays strong attention to legal accuracy, logical reasoning, and risk mitigation in all documents.
