Description:

We’re hiring a Canva Template Designer who thinks in grids, dreams in color palettes, and gets way too excited about good spacing. You know how to take a blank canvas and turn it into something that feels intentional, balanced, and undeniably useful. Your sense of layout, font pairing, and visual hierarchy is sharp, and you know exactly how to make a template both beautiful and practical. You’ve likely created templates for clients or sold your own, and you understand the importance of combining flexibility with aesthetic structure. You design with the end user in mind — your templates are intuitive, versatile, and customizable without compromising style. You move quickly in Canva, using every shortcut, feature, and layout trick like a pro. You keep up with visual trends and know what sells on Etsy, Gumroad, or in digital packs. You’re fast but thoughtful, efficient without sacrificing polish.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be organized in your design process—version control, backups, and reuse matter in a fast-paced design workflow.
• Update existing templates regularly to keep them fresh, on-trend, and aligned with Canva platform changes.
• Use Canva’s built-in features effectively: grids, frames, icons, charts, mockups, and brand kits.
• Package files neatly with clear naming conventions and folders to make download and navigation frictionless.
• Organize templates into collections and deliver them with proper naming, layer structure, and guidance for end-users.

Preferred:

• Able to design for different niches such as e-commerce, education, real estate, or wellness.
• Wants to grow into roles like Brand Designer, Content Creator, or Creative Lead.
• Understands visual hierarchy, spacing, and color theory for effective layout design.
• Knows how to balance aesthetics with functionality in editable templates.
• Excited to work remotely, manage their own workflow, and deliver client-ready templates.
