Description:

We’re looking for a Cashier who knows that great service goes beyond scanning items — someone who brings patience, positivity, and professionalism to every transaction. You’ll be the friendly face customers see at checkout, helping them complete their shopping with ease and satisfaction. You’ll operate the register, process payments, and handle coupons, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. You’ll keep your workspace clean, your drawer balanced, and your attention sharp from open to close. You’ll assist with bagging items, answering product questions, and helping direct customers if they need support in other departments. You’ll follow all cash handling procedures and report discrepancies or issues promptly to your supervisor. You’ll help with price checks, returns, exchanges, and receipts, always keeping a calm and respectful tone. You’ll help restock small items near the register and make sure the front of the store looks tidy and inviting. Basic Qualifications:

• Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked with bags, receipt paper, and other supplies.
• Adapt quickly to new POS systems, promotions, or store policy changes.
• Greet customers warmly and process purchases quickly and accurately at the register.
• Balance friendliness with efficiency—be fast, but never rude or robotic.
• Monitor checkout lines and help speed up the process during rush hours.

Preferred:

• Thrives in fast-paced, structured environments with clear responsibilities and teamwork.
• Organized with receipts, coupons, loyalty programs, and point redemptions.
• Familiar with safety and loss prevention procedures, including recognizing suspicious behavior.
• Understands the importance of cleanliness, appearance, and station organization.
• Willing to assist with curbside pickup, online order processing, or express lanes if required.
