Description:

We’re hiring a Public Relations Trainee who’s excited to learn how to manage brand image, engage with media, and tell stories that connect — no experience required, just a love for language and a sharp sense of timing. You’ll help draft media pitches, press releases, and talking points for internal and external use. We’ll train you to spot newsworthy angles, monitor media trends, and time your stories for maximum impact. You’ll help organize interviews, support event planning, and learn how to represent a brand’s voice across different channels. Expect to support campaign launches, brand announcements, and reactive statements when fast communication matters most. You’ll learn how to write for different formats: newsrooms, blogs, emails, and even Instagram captions — each with their own voice. We’ll guide you in understanding media cycles, deadlines, and what makes a story newsworthy. You’ll help prepare event briefs, coordinate interviews, and write post-coverage recaps that keep stakeholders informed. You’ll assist in drafting responses to media inquiries, internal FAQs, and statements for public release.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond to media inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and quick turnaround times.
• Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor news, and cultural moments that impact messaging.
• Remember: your words don’t just reflect the company—they shape how it’s remembered.
• Collaborate with marketing, social, and leadership teams to align messaging across all channels.
• Manage crisis communications by staying calm, strategic, and two steps ahead.

Preferred:

• Can track earned media coverage and prepare detailed PR performance reports.
• Knows how to respond quickly to crises or negative press with clarity and professionalism.
• Pays attention to tone, consistency, and brand guidelines across all public communication.
• Open to managing influencer outreach or brand ambassador relations when relevant.
• Wants to grow into roles like PR Manager, Communications Director, or Brand Strategist.

We’ll show you how to think critically about audience, framing, and the emotional effect of language.
