Description:
We’re looking for a Digital Product Designer who doesn’t just push pixels — you solve real problems with thoughtful design and a strong sense of user empathy. You won’t just be designing interfaces; you’ll be crafting product experiences from the ground up, grounded in empathy, usability, and clear visual storytelling. You’ll take part in the full product journey: from early discovery and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI. You ask the right questions, map out user journeys, and turn vague product requirements into intuitive interfaces that feel simple, even when they’re solving complex problems. You believe design is more than aesthetics — it's about making people feel confident, understood, and in control when they interact with a product. You're thoughtful with your decisions and can explain *why* something works, not just *how* it looks. You bring a mix of big-picture thinking and pixel-perfect execution, balancing stakeholder input, technical constraints, and the realities of timelines without sacrificing design integrity. Accessibility, responsiveness, and interaction design are second nature to you.
Basic Qualifications:
- Present and communicate your design rationale to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Inject delight into the product where it makes sense—microinteractions, smooth transitions, clever copy.
- Translate complex requirements into clean, elegant, and accessible interfaces that users actually enjoy.
- Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure visual consistency, scalability, and speed in the product development process.
- Organize design files, document decisions, and make collaboration easy for other team members.
Preferred:
- Has a portfolio showcasing clean, thoughtful, and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design platforms.
- Interested in staying updated with design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Understands responsive design and how interfaces adapt across devices.
- Experience designing user interfaces for web or mobile applications.
Benefits:
- Remote-first culture with optional creative retreats (yes, with moodboards).
- We believe in dark mode, accessible design, and properly named layers.
- We believe good design = good business, and we’ll back you up in meetings.
- We actually read and care about your design documentation.
- Your opinion shapes the product, not just the pixels — strategy > decoration.
You welcome feedback, iterate fast, and see collaboration as a creative advantage, not a compromise. Whether you’re refining a core experience or experimenting with something brand new, you care about the "why" behind every design decision. You're familiar with accessibility standards, responsive design, and building for performance — because design isn't finished until it works for *everyone*. If you’ve ever spent an hour refining a tooltip or trimming down a flow from 6 steps to 3 because “it just feels better,” you’re exactly the kind of designer we want on our team. If you’ve ever said, “What’s the goal here? ” before opening your design tool — you’re our kind of designer. Let’s build products that are not only beautiful but meaningful.
