Description:

We’re hiring a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team and support data management processes across the company. You’ll be responsible for accurately entering data into spreadsheets, databases, and systems while maintaining confidentiality. You’ll ensure that all data is correctly input, formatted, and categorized to meet project and operational requirements. You’ll assist in reviewing and cleaning data, identifying and correcting errors to maintain accuracy and consistency. You’ll collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the data. You’ll collaborate with different departments to ensure that the data entered aligns with their needs and requirements. You’ll perform regular audits of the data to identify inconsistencies or errors and take corrective action where necessary. You’ll help prepare data for analysis, ensuring that it’s organized and structured for easy access and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help build or maintain internal databases, tagging systems, or directory structures for better accessibility.
• Organize large batches of incoming data from various sources—surveys, CRM exports, lead lists, user feedback, etc.
• Maintain logs of tasks completed and report progress regularly to supervisors or project managers.
• Assist with cleaning, deduplicating, and validating large datasets for use in reports, outreach, or analysis.
• Support document digitization by converting PDFs or scanned forms into structured, editable formats.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working independently on daily tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• Capable of proofreading entries and correcting data errors before submission.
• Can track progress using project boards like Trello, Notion, or Asana.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks that require focus and precision over long periods.
• Pays attention to update logs and ensures all edits are accurately documented.
