Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee to help turn Figma designs into functional, pixel-perfect components — no experience required, just attention to detail and solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JS. You’ll work closely with designers to translate mockups into code that looks, feels, and functions exactly as intended. We’ll guide you through our stack, show you how we structure code, and help you understand how frontend connects with design and backend logic. You’ll work with real designers to implement layouts that adapt beautifully — from wide desktops to tiny phones. Expect to work closely with designers, turning Figma files into interfaces that move, breathe, and respond beautifully. You’ll learn how to use Git properly, write clean pull requests, and review code with clarity and respect. You’ll learn how to manage responsiveness across breakpoints, support dark mode, and ensure layouts hold up under real content. You’ll get experience working in sprints, tracking tasks in tools like Jira or Trello, and collaborating through Git and code reviews. You’ll collaborate with designers and backend devs to build UI that not only looks good, but works well under real-world conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Build responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—starting from Figma or scratch.
• Participate in sprint planning, retros, and design reviews when invited.
• Refactor code when it starts to smell (we’ll help you spot it).
• Work in frameworks like React, Vue, or whatever the team uses—don’t worry, we’ll help you learn.
• Ask questions when stuck, share progress early, and be open to pairing when needed.

Preferred:

• Willing to write documentation and comment code clearly for maintainability.
• Able to debug using browser developer tools and fix layout or console errors effectively.
• Comfortable using CSS methodologies like BEM, utility-first frameworks (e.g. Tailwind), or pre-processors like SASS.
• Can set up simple frontend projects from scratch and follow clean folder structures.
• Enjoys building intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that solve real problems.
