Description:

We’re looking for a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee — no experience needed, just patience, warmth, and a genuine love for helping children grow. If you’ve ever comforted a crying child, sparked a smile with a story, or helped tie tiny shoes, you already have the heart for this role. In this role, you’ll show boys and girls alike that care, respect, and gentleness are qualities anyone can lead with. You’ll assist lead educators in managing small groups, adapting activities, and creating calm, predictable classroom routines. You’ll learn how to offer gentle guidance during meltdowns, support communication with visuals or gestures, and celebrate tiny but powerful breakthroughs. You’ll be trained in classroom management, child safety, hygiene procedures, and how to support learning through play. Expect hugs, questions, spills, and surprises — but also laughter, creativity, and small breakthroughs that make it all worth it. You’ll observe how experienced teachers plan lessons, resolve conflicts gently, and nurture each child as an individual. Children will look to you not just for help, but for example — and you’ll grow into that responsibility over time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Encourage curiosity by welcoming questions—even the funny or strange ones.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and milestones.
• Host class events like performances, reading days, or family picnics to build community.
• Keep the classroom tidy, organized, and stocked with learning materials.
• Observe each child’s development and document key moments or concerns.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to each child’s unique learning style, needs, and developmental milestones.
• Able to support classroom routines such as snack time, clean-up, transitions, and outdoor play.
• Familiar with age-appropriate teaching methods that support emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Values compassion, patience, and creativity in early education settings.
• Comfortable managing a classroom environment with patience, positivity, and consistency.
