Description:

We’re hiring an Illustrator Trainee who’s passionate about turning abstract ideas into clear, expressive visuals — no prior experience needed, just creativity, patience, and a love for drawing. You’ll assist in developing visual assets for digital and print projects, including characters, icons, backgrounds, and editorial pieces. We’ll teach you how to develop visual concepts based on scripts, briefs, and rough creative direction. You’ll work closely with designers, writers, and art directors to bring concepts to life in ways that are both creative and purposeful. Expect to explore different styles, from flat design to textured, expressive illustrations, depending on the project’s tone. You’ll gain experience working with tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Fresco, or traditional sketching — whatever your style is, we’ll help refine it. We’ll guide you in building balanced compositions, exploring color theory, and refining line work with clarity and consistency. You’ll take part in feedback sessions that focus on color harmony, storytelling strength, and message clarity. You’ll help prepare illustrations for multiple formats, ensuring proper dimensions, resolutions, and file types.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Clip Studio Paint to produce high-quality artwork.
• Be proud of your craft—your illustrations are often the first thing people notice.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Stay inspired and research visual trends, techniques, and artists across cultures and time periods.
• Organize your asset libraries and templates for future reuse and efficiency.

Preferred:

• Willing to adapt style between minimalist, detailed, flat, textured, or hand-drawn aesthetics.
• Comfortable illustrating for different formats such as posters, packaging, websites, or animation assets.
• Willing to create mood boards, style frames, or sketches as part of the ideation process.
• Capable of illustrating characters, environments, icons, or conceptual scenes from scratch.
• Background or passion in illustration, visual arts, graphic design, or animation.
