Description:
We’re looking for an Online Community Support team member who thrives in digital spaces and genuinely enjoys helping people feel seen, heard, and supported. You’ll be the friendly, helpful, and steady voice in our digital spaces, making sure members feel welcomed, supported, and heard. Whether someone is asking a simple question, offering feedback, or venting frustration, you’ll know how to respond with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. You’ll monitor activity across platforms like Discord, Slack, Facebook Groups, or our own forums — answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding discussions when they drift off course. You’ll help identify community trends, surface valuable feedback, and work with internal teams to ensure our users' voices are heard. This role isn’t just about moderation — it’s about creating meaningful engagement: you’ll start conversations, highlight member wins, encourage contributions, and keep the energy alive even on quiet days.
Basic Qualifications:
- Track common questions or feedback and turn them into FAQs, guides, or helpful posts to reduce repetition.
- Engage daily with community members across platforms (Discord, Facebook Groups, forums, etc.)—answering questions, reacting to posts, and keeping the vibe positive.
- Use tools like Discord bots, Notion, or Sprout Social to manage workflows, posts, and reporting.
- Moderate posts and comments when needed, using a tone that’s firm but fair—not robotic.
- Foster conversations by asking thoughtful questions, sharing updates, and spotlighting community wins.
Preferred:
- Organized and able to manage multiple community platforms or channels at once.
- Open to collaborating with marketing, product, and support teams on community campaigns.
- Familiar with moderation tools and platforms like Discord, Facebook Groups, Reddit, or Circle.
- Understands how to maintain a positive atmosphere and enforce community guidelines.
- Comfortable analyzing user sentiment or compiling feedback from the community.
Benefits:
- We celebrate empathy, inside jokes, and the art of a great reply.
- Celebrate good threads, meaningful interactions, and even wholesome memes.
- Get shoutouts, bonuses, and recognition for being the calm in the chaos.
- You’ll help real people feel heard, supported, and part of something.
- Work from anywhere — if you’ve got Wi-Fi and empathy, you’re ready.
You’ll help create engagement calendars, highlight top contributors, and maybe even host the occasional AMA, Q&A, or virtual meetup. You’re someone who can manage multiple threads without getting overwhelmed, and you’re just as comfortable behind the scenes organizing resources as you are jumping into a group chat. You bring consistency, emotional intelligence, and a natural sense of when to step in and when to just let people talk. Let’s create a digital space where people feel seen, valued, and excited to show up. ” — this job might feel like second nature. Let’s grow a community where people feel seen, safe, and inspired to stay.
