Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support our catering operations — perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, adapts quickly, and keeps things running clean in dynamic event environments. You’ll work after the restaurant closes, cleaning dishes, cookware, and prep tools from dinner service and final cleanup. You’ll operate commercial dish machines, scrub large pots and pans, and ensure everything is sanitized and properly stored. You’ll work closely with line cooks and prep staff to ensure they have the clean tools they need to keep service moving. You’ll help clean up food prep tools, chafing dishes, trays, and coolers to make breakdown smooth and efficient. You’ll load and unload dish racks, storage bins, and gear before and after transport to and from the event site. You’ll collect dirty dishes from room service carts and banquet halls, returning them quickly to the wash area. You’ll assist chefs and servers with quick turnarounds between courses or guest waves, keeping the pace steady and cleanware flowing. You’ll work a predictable schedule with consistent hours, including weekday lunch rush and occasional evening service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle glassware and sharp tools carefully to avoid injury or breakage.
• Restock soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers in the dish area and bathrooms if required.
• Keep calm during busy hours and help others when your area is under control.
• Follow restaurant health and safety standards at all times, including wearing proper footwear.
• Sweep and mop floors in dishwashing and prep areas to prevent slips and maintain hygiene.

• Enjoys contributing to the success of the team through behind-the-scenes work.
• Pays attention to detail to ensure every plate, cup, and utensil meets cleanliness standards.
• Familiar with basic kitchen safety procedures, including handling sharp items and hot surfaces.
• Willing to follow manager instructions, complete cleaning checklists, and take initiative when tasks are low.
• Can manage chemical refills, dish machine upkeep, or drainage as instructed by supervisors.
