Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee with a focus on React and Next. You’ll work alongside our dev team on real projects, starting with bug fixes, UI polishing, and gradually moving into component building. We’ll teach you how to read design specs, extract assets, and build UI that respects spacing, typography, and brand consistency. We’ll teach you how to break designs into components, manage props, handle state, and keep your code modular and reusable. Expect to work with design systems, reusable components, and modern frameworks like React or Vue as you grow. We’ll show you how to test on mobile devices, emulate screen sizes, and debug issues in responsive breakpoints. You’ll learn how to manage responsiveness across breakpoints, support dark mode, and ensure layouts hold up under real content. You’ll get experience working in sprints, tracking tasks in tools like Jira or Trello, and collaborating through Git and code reviews. We’ll show you how to animate SVGs, loading states, modals, tooltips, and every little part of the UI people remember.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use Git daily and get comfortable with branches, merges, and fixing the occasional merge mess.
• Write or update simple documentation for components or workflows as you go.
• Support accessibility, SEO, and performance best practices even if you're still mastering them.
• Participate in sprint planning, retros, and design reviews when invited.
• Test your code before shipping: click through it, try to break it, then fix it.

Preferred:

• Able to debug using browser developer tools and fix layout or console errors effectively.
• Comfortable working with backend developers to integrate frontend with APIs and auth flows.
• Understands the importance of mobile-first design and visual consistency across screen sizes.
• Organized with task tracking tools like Trello, Jira, or Notion to stay on top of sprint work.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a solid understanding of responsive web design.
