Description:

We’re looking for a talented Discord Server Designer to build and maintain an organized, engaging, and functional server for our community. You’ll be responsible for creating an inviting, easy-to-navigate layout that encourages positive interaction among members. You’ll design channels, roles, and permissions to make sure members have a seamless experience, whether they’re chatting or participating in events. Your creativity will shine through in custom server graphics, including banners, emotes, and icons that give the community a unique identity. You’ll integrate bots and other tools to enhance server functionality and automate tasks that make the community run smoothly. You’ll work closely with our community managers to create an environment where members feel welcome and valued. You’ll develop systems for moderating and managing community interactions, keeping things positive and productive. You’ll troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and make updates to keep the server running smoothly. You’ll stay up-to-date with Discord’s latest features and experiment with new ways to improve engagement and interactivity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create intuitive channel layouts, category hierarchies, and naming conventions to guide users and reduce clutter.
• Implement roles, permissions, and access logic that balance security, functionality, and ease of use.
• Collaborate with community managers, moderators, or content creators to ensure the server serves its purpose—whether it’s social, support, education, or sales.
• Maintain a tidy admin panel and file structure—organized configs make future edits easier and safer.
• Craft server aesthetics—from emojis and banners to role colors and channel icons—that match the brand or community vibe.

Preferred:

• Excited to grow into roles like Community Architect, Server Strategist, or Discord Consultant.
• Has designed servers with tiered access, member verifications, or gated communities.
• Keeps up with Discord feature updates and knows how to implement new tools effectively.
• Values safety, clarity, and creativity in online community spaces.
• Able to design intuitive server layouts with welcome channels, rules, and role assignment flows.
