We’re hiring Auto Mechanic Trainees who are ready to start over — whether you’re coming from retail, construction, IT, or a desk job you were never passionate about. This is a hands-on role from day one: you’ll learn directly in the shop, not in a classroom, guided by certified mechanics who’ve been in your shoes. You’ll begin with the fundamentals: how to lift safely, how to change oil correctly, how to inspect brakes, and how to write a proper service note. You’ll start with foundational tasks: oil changes, fluid checks, brake inspections, tire rotations — and understand what’s happening, not just “follow the checklist. You’ll treat each customer’s car like your own — whether it’s a daily driver, a work truck, or someone’s first set of wheels. You’ll get hands-on time with real vehicles and real problems, and we’ll never throw you into a job you haven’t been prepared for. You’ll learn the habits that make great mechanics: staying organized, checking your work, communicating clearly, and respecting safety at all times. You’ll keep your workspace clean, your tools organized, and your mind sharp on every job — big or small.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and manufacturer-specific software to troubleshoot check engine lights and system errors.
• Prioritize workload and manage multiple repairs while meeting shop timelines and customer expectations.
• Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, exhausts, cooling systems, and drivetrains.
• Handle vehicle lifts, jacks, and tools safely—adhering to torque specifications and using proper repair techniques.
• Test drive vehicles before and after service to confirm repairs and ensure proper function and performance.

Preferred:

• Open to learning new diagnostic tools and repair procedures as technology evolves.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair instructions.
• Familiar with using diagnostic tools such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and pressure gauges.
• Comfortable working on both gas and diesel engines; hybrid or EV experience is a bonus.
• Experience using shop management systems or repair tracking software is a plus.
