Description:
We’re hiring a detail-oriented Online Job Application Assistant to help job seekers find and secure the best opportunities. You’ll assist clients in finding relevant job opportunities, tailoring their applications to each specific role. You’ll guide clients through the application process, assisting with form filling, answering questions, and ensuring nothing is overlooked. You’ll track job applications, set reminders for follow-up actions, and ensure deadlines are met. You’ll track application statuses, manage timelines, and send reminders for follow-ups and deadlines. You’ll help clients optimize their LinkedIn profiles and other online platforms to maximize visibility to recruiters. You’ll assist with LinkedIn profile optimization, making sure job seekers are visible and appealing to recruiters. You’ll assist with crafting engaging cover letters that complement resumes and capture hiring managers’ attention. You’ll maintain a detailed record of applications submitted and track responses to help refine job search strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Adjust strategies based on feedback—if rejections pile up, it might be time to tweak tone, resume structure, or role targeting.
- Assist in crafting short personalized messages to recruiters or hiring managers to increase response rates.
- Use job alert tools, keyword filters, and boolean search to discover relevant roles efficiently.
- Ensure clients avoid common mistakes like duplicate submissions, missing information, or applying to outdated listings.
- Make applications feel human—not robotic—by balancing structure with a touch of personality.
Preferred:
- Organized and proactive when dealing with multiple job types, deadlines, and application formats.
- Pays attention to detail when filling out application forms to avoid errors or inconsistencies.
- Comfortable managing multiple applications at once while tracking deadlines and statuses.
- Experience helping others apply for jobs online, including resume uploads and form completion.
- Able to identify strong job matches based on a candidate’s experience, skills, and preferences.
