We’re offering a Nanny Trainee position for someone who’s ready to support a busy household with multiple children of different ages. You’ll assist in creating a safe, loving environment where kids can grow, play, and feel supported every day. You’ll help with everything from preparing meals and snacks to setting up playtime or organizing backpacks. You’ll learn how to divide attention fairly, staying patient and flexible even when several things happen at once. You’ll support the creation of a calm, positive atmosphere where children feel safe, seen, and heard. You’ll observe how to introduce tummy time, age-appropriate sensory play, and gentle verbal engagement. You’ll help prepare snacks or simple meals, and learn how to accommodate allergies or special dietary needs. You’ll learn how to manage routines like morning prep, quiet time, bath time, and bedtime with consistency and calm. You’ll learn how to engage children in storytelling, crafts, games, and light educational exercises based on their age and needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Read books, play games, and offer creative outlets like arts and crafts or music time.
• Adapt to the needs of each child, recognizing different temperaments and learning styles.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, including tidying play areas and washing children’s laundry.
• Create a nurturing space where children feel safe, curious, and loved.
• Accompany children to and from school, extracurriculars, or playdates as needed.

Preferred:

• Comfortable with screen-time limits, structured quiet time, and promoting healthy habits.
• Comfortable preparing nutritious meals and snacks based on the child’s dietary needs or parental guidelines.
• Pays attention to emotional well-being and uses positive discipline methods when necessary.
• Wants to grow into roles like Montessori Assistant, Childcare Manager, or Preschool Teacher.
• Willing to assist with homework, school pickups/drop-offs, or extracurricular schedules as needed.
