Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee to join our hospitality team, where cleanliness and presentation create the first impression for every guest. You’ll begin by learning how to clean large open areas like corridors, food courts, and entrances after the crowds are gone. You’ll assist in sanitizing bathrooms, refilling toiletries, and ensuring towels are fresh, folded, and properly placed. You’ll assist in wiping down desks, sanitizing door handles, and refreshing shared spaces like kitchens and restrooms. You’ll help tidy meeting rooms, refill hygiene supplies, and prepare common areas like kitchens and restrooms. You’ll learn how to clean restrooms thoroughly, refill supplies, and leave them spotless for morning visitors. You’ll follow zone-based checklists and time schedules to ensure nothing is missed during overnight routines. You’ll be responsible for using the right cleaning products on specific materials like glass, wood, and electronics. You’ll help restock supplies like hand sanitizers, soap dispensers, tissues, and disposable bed sheets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Restock carts or closets with cleaning materials before and after each shift.
• Handle sensitive areas with extra care, such as medical rooms, computer equipment, or confidential spaces.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste following health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when working in occupied spaces.
• Follow checklists to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and consistently.

Preferred:

• Willing to adapt to changing tasks or respond to urgent cleaning needs when requested by supervisors.
• Capable of identifying maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or safety hazards during routine cleaning.
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for others.
• Wants to grow into roles like Head Cleaner, Cleaning Supervisor, or Facility Assistant.
• Able to lift light to moderate loads and complete physically active tasks throughout the shift.
