Description:

We’re hiring a Night Shift Security Guard Trainee for someone who’s alert, calm, and comfortable working independently during quiet hours. You’ll begin by learning building routines like monitoring entrances, checking visitor logs, and assisting with after-hours access requests. You’ll be trained to monitor surveillance systems in low-traffic periods, watching for suspicious movement or activity after hours. You’ll assist in checking security cameras, reporting maintenance issues, and helping prevent theft or vandalism. You’ll help secure backstage zones, VIP areas, or equipment tents where access must be strictly controlled. You’ll help with routine walk-throughs, ensuring fire exits are clear, lights are functioning, and doors are secured. You’ll learn to interact with retail staff, cleaning teams, and mall management to keep daily operations smooth. You’ll assist in crowd control, helping maintain order during events, busy periods, or emergencies. You’ll receive instruction on fire alarm procedures, evacuation protocols, and how to guide residents safely in emergencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide basic first aid or CPR if certified and required in emergency situations.
• Manage access logs, key control systems, or badge distribution as part of your duties.
• Monitor fire panels, emergency exits, and other safety systems as part of routine checks.
• Deter theft, vandalism, or unsafe behavior through a visible and professional presence.
• Perform bag checks, vehicle inspections, or ID verification when assigned to high-security areas.

Preferred:

• Experience monitoring entrances, patrolling premises, or observing surveillance systems in commercial, residential, or public areas.
• Open to training in workplace safety, first aid, or customer service depending on the site.
• Comfortable working at night, on weekends, or during holidays depending on the assigned shift.
• Background or interest in safety, law enforcement, military, or public service.
• Enjoys helping people feel safe and ensuring order in dynamic environments.
