We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to support our mobile nail care service — ideal for someone who’s flexible, organized, and ready to bring beauty and professionalism directly to the client. You’ll start by learning how to prep natural nails properly for long-lasting extensions and designs. You’ll assist in greeting VIP clients, offering refreshments, and helping them feel relaxed and welcomed from the first moment. You’ll be trained to use forms, tips, and sculpting techniques to build strong, well-balanced nail structures. You’ll learn how to file, shape, and buff nails to perfection, paying close attention to symmetry and polish application. You’ll support services such as paraffin wraps, hand exfoliation, and cuticle oil massage as part of elevated care packages. You’ll support polish removal, gentle exfoliation, and light massage services using travel-safe, skin-friendly products. You’ll support cleaning and sanitizing protocols using eco-safe, biodegradable products and reusable tools. You’ll help manage schedules, confirm bookings, and adjust time slots based on traffic or last-minute changes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle client concerns or requests for corrections with grace and professionalism.
• Suggest aftercare products or routines to help clients maintain their nails between visits.
• Recognize and advise on signs of nail or skin conditions that may require medical attention.
• Stay creative and inspired—even the smallest nail is a canvas for expression.
• Apply nail polish, gel, acrylic, or other finishes with precision and attention to client preferences.

Preferred:

• Pays close attention to nail symmetry, design accuracy, and cleanliness of tools and workspace.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to make clients feel welcome and at ease.
• Familiar with handling various nail shapes (e.g., almond, coffin, stiletto) and extensions or overlays.
• Organized in managing client appointments, product inventory, and personal workstations.
• Able to maintain detailed records of client preferences, allergies, and past services.
