We’re searching for a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can turn day one jitters into day one excitement. Your mission will be to craft an onboarding experience that’s smooth, engaging, and genuinely helpful — not just a checklist of tasks. Whether it's prepping equipment shipments or coordinating intro calls, you’ll handle it all with care and clarity. You’ll manage onboarding checklists, schedule intros with team members, and make sure no question goes unanswered. You’ll ensure every new hire knows who to talk to, where to go, and what to expect in their first days. You’re great at sending that one extra follow-up that turns silence into clarity. You’ll refine onboarding materials to make them more intuitive, engaging, and accessible. Your calendar will be your best friend, and your follow-ups will be legendary. We’re a remote team, so your ability to make virtual feel personal will set the tone for every new hire.
Basic Qualifications:
- Schedule team introductions, mentorship pairings, or social calls to help new hires connect and build relationships quickly.
- Coordinate welcome kits, branded merch, or shout-outs to make remote hires feel part of the team from day one.
- Participate in weekly syncs with HR or People Ops to align on process improvements and onboarding insights.
- Ensure legal and compliance documentation is signed, stored, and filed appropriately without chasing people every time.
- Support global or remote-first teams by adjusting onboarding flows based on time zones, roles, or contract types.
