Description:

We’re hiring an Online Course Assistant who’s passionate about smooth learning experiences and loves being the quiet engine behind a successful virtual classroom. You’ll be the go-to person for both students and instructors, making sure lessons go live on time, assignments are tracked, and nobody feels lost in the digital shuffle. You’ll ensure all course elements run smoothly — from maintaining clean, updated modules to helping troubleshoot login or access issues. You’ll respond to student questions via chat, email, or discussion boards, provide helpful reminders about assignments, and assist instructors with uploading content, managing schedules, and tracking engagement. If you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoy helping others learn, you’ll feel right at home here. You’ll bring structure to the learning process without making it rigid, and your communication style makes people feel at ease. You’ll also monitor student progress and flag anyone who might be falling behind so we can step in early. Whether it’s organizing resources, answering FAQs, or ensuring the course flows smoothly from week to week, your work will have a big impact on student success. Communication is your superpower — you know how to write messages that are friendly, clear, and never condescending.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help enforce academic honesty by spotting suspicious patterns or duplicate answers.
• Keep course resources organized, labeled, and easy to navigate for a smooth learner experience.
• Be present in discussions to keep momentum going and encourage thoughtful participation.
• Draft course updates or weekly newsletters to keep students informed and motivated.
• Track and report student engagement trends using LMS analytics or custom dashboards.

Preferred:

• Able to provide technical support to students with login or access issues.
• Detail-oriented when checking course materials, links, or scheduling information.
• Enjoys helping others stay organized, on track, and motivated through digital tools.
• Can help organize feedback from students or track their progress and engagement.
• Eager to assist instructors in managing content uploads, announcements, and assignments.
