Description:

We’re looking for a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee — no experience needed, just patience, warmth, and a genuine love for helping children grow. You’ll step into a classroom filled with curiosity, imagination, and little voices ready to discover the world. In this role, you’ll show boys and girls alike that care, respect, and gentleness are qualities anyone can lead with. Your first days will be spent observing, supporting, and gently joining in on group play, art time, storytime, and songs. You’ll help create a warm, structured space where every child feels safe, seen, and encouraged to be themselves. You’ll help with organizing activities, managing small groups, and showing children how to take turns, listen, and express themselves. You’ll help with transitions, sensory tools, movement breaks, and one-on-one moments that build trust and connection. You’ll help with snack time, nap time, and all the in-between moments that build trust and routine. We’ll teach you how to recognize developmental milestones and when to simply give space for natural growth.

Basic Qualifications:

• Observe each child’s development and document key moments or concerns.
• Ensure all activities meet health, safety, and learning standards.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, administrators, and other staff to support each child.
• Stay updated with early education best practices and child development research.
• Handle tough days with humor, patience, and a lot of deep breaths.

Preferred:

• Comfortable incorporating basic technology, art, and storytelling into classroom activities.
• Familiar with positive behavior reinforcement, conflict resolution, and redirection techniques.
• Background or formal education in early childhood education, child psychology, or pedagogy.
• Comfortable managing a classroom environment with patience, positivity, and consistency.
• Organized with classroom supplies, daily schedules, and child records.
