Description:

We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who knows that great dentistry is a team sport — and you’re the MVP behind the scenes. You’ll be the friendly face that greets nervous patients and helps them feel safe before a single tool is picked up. Before the dentist even picks up an instrument, you’ve already set the tone with kindness and care. You know how to handle suction, X-rays, and charting — and still have time for a reassuring word. You’ll know what’s needed before anyone has to ask, because your intuition is practically psychic. You’ll help patients feel relaxed, even if they “hate the dentist” — challenge accepted. You’ll track procedures, update charts, and keep meticulous records that make follow-up smooth and accurate. You’ll manage sterilization like a pro, following protocol to the letter because safety is non-negotiable. You’ll explain things in plain language, because “occlusal composite” sounds way cooler as “tiny tooth repair.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay organized while managing multiple patients, treatment rooms, and procedure prep throughout the day.
• Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene, procedure aftercare, or follow-up appointments.
• Support pediatric or special needs patients with extra care and attention during exams or procedures.
• Assist with patient charting during exams—recording observations, noting areas of concern, and capturing dentist’s recommendations.
• Order and manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure all instruments are accounted for, labeled, and functional.

Preferred:

• Experience assisting dentists during procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
• Maintains professionalism and compassion with every patient interaction.
• Values cleanliness, reliability, and clear communication in healthcare settings.
• Familiar with OSHA and HIPAA regulations and follows them consistently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced practice with multiple patients and priorities.
