Description:

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant Intern who’s excited to gain real experience, build confidence in customer service, and explore what it’s like to be part of a dynamic retail team. You’ll assist with customer interactions, learning how to greet, guide, and support shoppers with professionalism and care. You’ll be trained on using point-of-sale systems, processing payments, and handling refunds with care and professionalism. You’ll learn how to restock shelves, tidy displays, and make sure everything is clean, organized, and easy to find. You’ll gradually take on more customer-facing duties as your confidence and product knowledge grow. You’ll help keep the store clean, welcoming, and fully stocked throughout the day. You’ll learn how to stay focused, calm, and helpful — even during peak hours or busy weekends. You’ll be part of team briefings, gaining insight into promotions, sales goals, and seasonal retail strategies. You’ll learn how to prioritize during busy periods and how to stay productive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Offer personalized recommendations based on customer preferences and current trends.
• Report low stock or customer feedback to supervisors to help improve operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout throughout the day.
• Greet customers warmly and help them find products that fit their needs or style.
• Help unpack and organize new stock deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.

Preferred:

• Team-oriented and willing to support coworkers with customer queues, fitting rooms, or stockroom tasks.
• Open to upselling, cross-selling, and promoting new arrivals or featured products.
• Wants to grow into roles like Senior Sales Associate, Store Supervisor, or Visual Merchandiser.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and helping lift or move merchandise when needed.
• Familiar with store layout, inventory availability, and current promotions or sales events.
