Description:

We’re hiring an Email Marketing Assistant to help create and manage email campaigns that drive engagement and sales. You’ll be responsible for writing email copy that is persuasive, engaging, and aligned with brand messaging and goals. You’ll assist with creating visually appealing email templates that are consistent with the brand and optimize user experience. You’ll assist in building segmented email lists, targeting specific customer groups with personalized messaging. You’ll track and report on email performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll track the success of email campaigns, providing insights into open rates, click-through rates, and other key performance indicators. You’ll collaborate with the design team to ensure email templates are mobile-friendly and visually consistent across devices. You’ll work with email automation tools to set up and monitor workflows that nurture leads and engage customers at key touchpoints.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance speed with accuracy—emails move fast, but every click depends on getting it right.
• Work with content, design, or sales teams to align email messages with product launches, events, or seasonal promotions.
• Monitor deliverability and reputation metrics, helping prevent emails from going to spam or being blocked.
• Ensure all emails follow branding, tone, and style guidelines while experimenting with new creative formats.
• Assist in writing or editing email flows like welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement, or post-purchase follow-ups.

Preferred:

• Understands the basics of GDPR compliance and permission-based email marketing.
• Enjoys combining data and creativity to improve results and audience engagement.
• Familiar with tools like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, or Brevo (Sendinblue).
• Basic understanding of email marketing principles, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.
• Knows how to organize and tag subscribers based on actions or interests.

You’ll work closely with the design team to ensure email templates are visually appealing and consistent with the brand’s identity. You’ll monitor email deliverability, ensuring messages reach the inbox and don't end up in spam folders. You’ll help develop strategies for increasing open rates, reducing unsubscribes, and improving overall campaign effectiveness. You’ll assist in gathering and analyzing feedback from subscribers to improve email content and customer satisfaction.
