Description:

We’re hiring a Remote HR Coordinator to be the backbone of our HR operations, handling recruitment, benefits, and employee relations. You’ll play an essential role in the recruitment process, from posting job openings to coordinating interviews and helping to select top talent. You’ll guide new hires through a smooth onboarding process, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-prepared for their role. You’ll handle administrative tasks like maintaining employee records, tracking attendance, and supporting payroll processes. You’ll ensure that employees have the resources they need to succeed, from training programs to performance reviews. You’ll ensure compliance with labor laws and assist in the implementation of HR policies that reflect best practices. You’ll ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, helping to mitigate risks and promote fairness. You’ll assist with benefits administration, helping employees understand their options and navigating health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. You’ll help manage the company’s benefit programs, ensuring employees have the information they need to make informed decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Track key HR metrics—turnover, onboarding completion, survey results—and present findings in simple reports or dashboards.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations remotely, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and data management in HRIS tools like BambooHR, Gusto, or Deel.
  • Assist with remote learning initiatives by coordinating access to training platforms, tracking participation, and gathering feedback.
  • Help implement DEI initiatives by tracking participation, gathering feedback, and supporting communication efforts.
  • Ensure all time-off requests, sick leaves, and employment changes are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Preferred:

  • Can assist in creating or updating internal HR policies, FAQs, and templates.
  • Curious about modern HR tools, onboarding automation, and team engagement strategies.
  • Understands confidentiality and the importance of handling sensitive information securely.
  • Willing to follow checklists and help improve workflows over time.
  • Comfortable maintaining digital files, updating HR systems, and ensuring accurate data entry.
