You’ll manage inventory like a pro, ensuring no shelf runs empty and no medication expires unnoticed. You’ll manage inventory like a science — keeping track of stock, expiration dates, and reordering before the shelves ever run low. You’ll support your technicians, train interns, and help create a team culture grounded in professionalism and respect.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA, local pharmacy boards) including controlled substance protocols.
• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients while verifying dosages, interactions, and contraindications based on medical history and current treatments.
• Review prescriptions for completeness, legality, and accuracy—contacting physicians when clarification or substitutions are needed.
• Provide clear counseling to patients on how to properly take their medications, potential side effects, and safe storage or disposal practices.
• Provide accurate drug information and clinical insights to healthcare providers, patients, and team members.

Preferred:

• Able to support vaccination programs and administer immunizations where permitted.
• Thrives in detail-focused, ethical, and team-driven healthcare settings.
• Experience dispensing prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and counseling patients on medication use.
• Comfortable providing patient education regarding side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Values patient safety, precision, and evidence-based guidance above all.
