We’re hiring Gardener and Landscaper Trainees — no experience required, just a love for nature and working with your hands. You don’t need a green thumb yet — we’ll help you grow it, one plant at a time. That’s totally fine — we’ll teach you how to plant, trim, dig, and care for green spaces step by step. Your early days will include sweeping paths, preparing soil, unloading plants, and cleaning up after the crew. You’ll learn how to care for lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees in all kinds of weather and soil conditions. You’ll begin to recognize plant types, understand soil conditions, and learn how sunlight and water affect growth. Expect early mornings, fresh air, physical effort, and that unique satisfaction of seeing your work bloom. You’ll discover how to prepare soil, transplant plants without damaging roots, and create healthy growing environments. Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate with team members or clients about daily tasks, project progress, or issues that arise during maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols when using ladders, chemicals, or power equipment in outdoor conditions.
• Stay informed about regional plants, watering needs, and sustainable landscaping practices suitable for climate and soil.
• Monitor plant health—identifying signs of disease, pests, or stress and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or mulch as needed to promote plant health and control pests or weeds according to environmental regulations.

Preferred:

• Able to safely operate landscaping tools and machinery such as lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, or leaf blowers.
• Understands how to follow landscaping plans or instructions from clients or supervisors.
• Values precision, natural beauty, and the satisfaction of maintaining healthy outdoor spaces.
• Comfortable working in teams or independently depending on project scope.
• Familiar with seasonal planting schedules, composting, and fertilizer application.
