Description:
We’re hiring a Cook who doesn’t just follow recipes — but understands why each step matters, and takes pride in putting care into every plate. You’ll be responsible for prepping and cooking dishes to spec, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anything in between. You’ll work clean and stay organized, keeping your station stocked, sanitized, and ready for action at all times. You’ll keep your station clean, ingredients fresh, and workflow efficient no matter how busy it gets. You’ll clean as you go, keep your station neat, and help with dishes or floor cleaning when needed. You’ll communicate clearly with servers and other cooks to time dishes correctly and avoid bottlenecks during rushes. You’ll be expected to stay cool under pressure, adapt to unexpected changes, and recover fast when mistakes happen. You’ll help with morning prep or evening close-down depending on your shift, and take responsibility for your tools and space. You’ll adapt to different roles on the line — from grill to sauté to salad — and support your team where needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Be punctual and reliable—your presence is essential to the kitchen running smoothly.
- Communicate clearly with servers, hosts, or managers when delays or issues arise.
- Accept feedback from head chefs or supervisors and apply it constructively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sanitizing surfaces and tools.
- Work efficiently during high-volume hours while staying calm under pressure.
Preferred:
- Thrives in high-energy, collaborative environments where food is made with care.
- Familiar with reading and following recipes, portion guidelines, and kitchen prep lists.
- Organized with labeling, storing, and restocking ingredients to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
- Willing to learn new recipes, cuisines, or dietary accommodations such as vegan, gluten-free, or allergen-aware dishes.
- Background or interest in culinary arts, hospitality, or food service.
Benefits:
- Clear communication — from orders to scheduling, we keep it simple.
- Opportunities to learn new cuisines, plating techniques, and kitchen tools.
- Tasting sessions, new recipe trials, and time to experiment.
- Every dish is your canvas — and we notice the details.
- Because here, you’re not cooking for a paycheck — you’re creating moments.
You’ll respect food safety rules, follow internal procedures, and help maintain a safe, professional back-of-house environment. You’ll take pride in turning fresh ingredients into consistent quality, dish after dish. You’ll help keep kitchen morale high — even during peak rush — by staying calm, focused, and respectful. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rhythm, repetition, and the satisfaction of a perfectly timed service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on repetition, teamwork, and the quiet satisfaction of a job done right. We believe cooking is a skill anyone can learn with patience, support, and repetition. Whether you’re prepping breakfast, plating dinner, or handling bulk prep, your work will always matter here. Let’s cook with purpose, prep with care, and feed people with real pride — one shift at a time.
