Description:

We’re hiring a Warehouse Clerk Trainee who’s ready to learn how to keep a busy warehouse organized, efficient, and running smoothly from the inside out. You’ll start by assisting with receiving shipments — checking delivery slips, inspecting items, and logging everything into the system. You’ll assist in receiving refrigerated or frozen goods, verifying product integrity, and checking temperatures upon arrival. You’ll assist in staging shipments based on departure times, airline schedules, and final destinations. You’ll be trained to follow clear routines — organizing bins, labeling shelves, and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. You’ll work with fewer distractions, focusing on task flow, accuracy, and keeping your zone efficient and tidy. You’ll learn how to handle fragile, oversized, or bundled orders with the appropriate packaging method. You’ll work within clearly marked zones — chilled, frozen, and ambient — and follow assigned paths to avoid cross-contamination. You’ll assist with inventory tracking systems and barcode scanners to log cargo status in real time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and record deliveries accurately.
• Assist with returns, restocking, and identifying damaged or expired goods.
• Keep warehouse shelves, aisles, and stations organized and free from clutter or safety hazards.
• Report inventory discrepancies, shipment delays, or damaged stock to supervisors immediately.
• Stay on task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in logistics, supply chain operations, or inventory management.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members, delivery drivers, and warehouse managers.
• Comfortable lifting boxes, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or distribution environment.
• Wants to grow into roles like Inventory Coordinator, Shipping Supervisor, or Warehouse Lead.
