Description:

We’re looking for a Pharmacist who understands that every pill, every dose, and every conversation can make a real difference. You’ll be the one patients trust when they feel overwhelmed by prescriptions, diagnoses, or side effects. You’ll check prescriptions with laser focus — spotting errors, catching interactions, and asking the questions others don’t. You’ll counsel patients with clarity, helping them understand their treatments and how to take them safely. You’ll be the calm expert when a parent is nervous, when an elderly patient forgets, or when someone’s just had a bad day. You’ll counsel patients with empathy, explaining dosages, timing, and side effects in language they truly understand. You know how to lead a team, support your techs, and keep the day moving — even when it’s a Monday and the line is 12 deep. You’ll stay on top of new medications and treatment guidelines, because healthcare never stops evolving — and neither do you. You’ll help people navigate side effects, insurance confusion, and late-night questions with empathy and patience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, insurers, and other pharmacists to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) sessions for patients with chronic conditions, ensuring adherence and minimizing risk.
• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA, local pharmacy boards) including controlled substance protocols.
• Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and support patients in understanding co-pays, prior authorizations, or formulary changes.
• Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, placing orders and managing stock to avoid shortages or expirations.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working in both community and clinical pharmacy environments.
• Able to collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or recommend alternatives.
• Excited to support health outcomes through medication accuracy and education.
• Background in pharmacy, pharmacology, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Willing to support wellness initiatives, medication therapy management (MTM), or chronic care programs.
