Description:

We’re hiring an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments — perfect for someone who’s precise, safety-focused, and skilled with tools and wiring. You’ll respond to urgent electrical issues such as sudden outages, tripped breakers, burning smells, or sparking equipment in homes and commercial buildings. You’ll read and interpret residential blueprints, floor plans, and load calculations to plan efficient and code-compliant layouts. You’ll be on-call for shifts that may include nights, weekends, or holidays, depending on rotation and client contracts. You’ll upgrade old wiring in kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces to support modern appliances and devices. You’ll work with building management to ensure code compliance, plan upgrades, and maintain accurate maintenance logs. You’ll conduct preventive maintenance on motors, relays, VFDs, lighting systems, and backup power sources to reduce downtime. You’ll document each job thoroughly, including time of arrival, actions taken, materials used, and photos of damage and resolution. You’ll coordinate with general contractors, HVAC techs, and plumbers on site to ensure smooth cross-trade workflow.

Preferred:

• Willing to communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and other tradespeople on job sites.
• Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Follows all lockout/tagout, PPE, and workplace safety protocols to prevent injury or equipment damage.
• Able to work under pressure and respond to emergency electrical calls when needed.
• Capable of working independently or within a larger construction or facilities maintenance team.

You’ll be expected to work in wet, dark, hot, or confined conditions, sometimes with limited information and time pressure. You’ll receive training in rapid troubleshooting, live-panel safety, and safe work methods under time constraints. You’ll log repairs, parts used, and time spent per task using building management software or ticketing platforms. You’ll help prevent future incidents by recommending upgrades, repairs, or scheduled maintenance to clients after emergencies are resolved. You’ll be expected to work professionally around staff, guests, or tenants — often while systems are live. You’ll receive support from a lead technician or supervisor who helps assign tasks and manage building priorities. Previous experience in an industrial setting is preferred, but candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to train are welcome.
