Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly, our dishes spotless, and our team supported — perfect for someone who works quickly, stays organized, and takes pride in a clean station. You’ll wash and sanitize dishes, trays, glassware, and cookware coming from the restaurant, room service, and banquet events. You’ll assist in unpacking, setting up, and operating mobile dish stations in temporary kitchens or prep tents. You’ll work with commercial dishwashing machines and perform manual scrubbing for heavy pots and delicate kitchen tools. You’ll keep dish areas, sinks, floor mats, and drains clean and clutter-free at all times. You’ll empty trash, recycling, and food waste bins regularly, following safety and cleanliness standards. You’ll follow safety and sanitation standards even in improvised or limited-space setups. You’ll be trained to operate commercial dish machines and follow health department safety guidelines. You’ll work a predictable schedule with consistent hours, including weekday lunch rush and occasional evening service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Take pride in keeping the backbone of the kitchen running quietly and efficiently.
• Report broken equipment, clogged drains, or other issues to the kitchen supervisor immediately.
• Handle glassware and sharp tools carefully to avoid injury or breakage.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and putting away supplies when the dish area is slow.
• Take out trash, recycling, and compost regularly to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

• Able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, or holidays based on kitchen needs.

• Familiar with drying, polishing, and restacking for buffet setups, events, or fine-dining service.

You’ll receive training on health code standards, deep cleaning techniques, and chemical safety protocols. You’ll support trash disposal, food waste separation, and linen collection in coordination with housekeeping and kitchen staff. You’ll be trained to handle chemicals safely, monitor sanitizing temperatures, and log cleaning tasks when required. You’ll be expected to work steadily, maintain focus, and take initiative without constant supervision. You’ll assist in prepping or portioning cold items occasionally during slower dish periods. You’ll rotate between tasks to avoid burnout and maintain energy through repetitive work. No experience needed — just reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work productively at night.
