Description:

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant Intern who’s excited to gain real experience, build confidence in customer service, and explore what it’s like to be part of a dynamic retail team. You’ll be introduced to the basics of customer interaction, learning how to greet shoppers, offer assistance, and make every visitor feel welcome. You’ll practice those same skills yourself, gradually building comfort in starting conversations and helping customers with confidence. You’ll gradually learn to take initiative — greeting guests, answering questions, and offering support during their shopping experience. We’ll train you on how to handle basic transactions and operate a POS system, one step at a time. You’ll assist in setting up promotions, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring displays always look fresh and inviting. You’ll gain insight into inventory basics — such as restocking, tagging, and keeping count of popular items. You’ll work under supervision, but you’ll also have opportunities to take initiative and suggest small improvements. You’ll develop time management skills by helping during busy hours and staying proactive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor for suspicious behavior and follow store protocol for loss prevention.
• Be adaptable—every customer, shift, and day is different.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently, whether by cash, card, or mobile.
• Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure all items are properly labeled and priced.
• Take initiative to help customers, even if it’s not in your immediate area.

Preferred:

• Comfortable standing for long periods and helping lift or move merchandise when needed.
• Willing to follow store security procedures and assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments with a positive team spirit.
• Pays attention to product presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards on the sales floor.
• Comfortable learning about new products, seasonal changes, or inventory updates quickly.
