Description:

We’re offering a Nanny Trainee position for someone who’s ready to support a busy household with multiple children of different ages. You’ll assist in creating a safe, loving environment where kids can grow, play, and feel supported every day. You’ll help with everything from preparing meals and snacks to setting up playtime or organizing backpacks. You’ll help track sleep, feeding, and mood patterns — learning how small details make a big difference in infant care. You’ll assist with sterilizing bottles, organizing baby supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe nursery space. You’ll support language development, teach basic manners, and encourage curiosity through conversation and interaction. You’ll support toddler transitions from crawling to walking, bottle to cup, and help encourage new skills step by step. You’ll help guide shared routines such as family meals, bedtime rituals, and getting ready for school or outings. You’ll gain experience balancing active play with quiet time, helping children transition smoothly between activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be flexible—children are unpredictable, and plans often change on the fly.
• Respect family boundaries while building trust and open communication with parents.
• Adapt to the needs of each child, recognizing different temperaments and learning styles.
• Use gentle discipline methods in line with the family's values and established rules.
• Accompany children to and from school, extracurriculars, or playdates as needed.

Preferred:

• Comfortable preparing nutritious meals and snacks based on the child’s dietary needs or parental guidelines.
• Familiar with basic child development milestones and engaging children in age-appropriate learning activities.
• Maintains discretion and professionalism regarding the family’s privacy and personal matters.
• Willing to accompany children to parks, libraries, playdates, or appointments safely and responsibly.
• Follows instructions closely and communicates regularly with parents regarding the child’s behavior or needs.
